Exhibition 2006 – Lahore,

As a contribution towards clean
environment and promoting CNG
culture in Pakistan, Comfort
Technologies is holding “First
International CNG Exhibition
2006” from Dec. 29 to December
31, 2006 in the historical city
of Lahore.
The CNG Exhibition at Lahore is
sponsored by Ministry of
Transport Punjab and organized
by Comfort Technologies (Pvt.)
Limited and shall provide
immense opportunities to
international investors to view
this huge future market for
their CNG products.
Industry stakeholders are
invited to participate in these
Exhibition and introduce their
valuable products to the
Pakistan market.
CNG use now exceeds one million
vehicles, converting at the rate
of 150,000 vehicles per year,
and 1100 CNG filling stations in
Pakistan, making it the third
largest market in the world.
The Government is taking major
steps to promote CNG by
exempting from all taxes and
duties for CNG refueling and
conversion equipment. The
Government is also supporting
industry and investors to
establish manufacturing
facilities in Pakistan to
produce CNG Kits, CNG Dispensers
and CNG Cylinders. The
Government has also planned to
grant licenses for setting up
compressor factories in
Pakistan.
Recognizing the vast growth of
CNG vehicles, products,
machineries, parts, industry and
equipment in past few years and
realizing future trends in this
sector, now is the right time to
bring all national and
international forums and
companies dealing in CNG
technologies on one platform to
attract more investment in this
sector, remove ambiguities in
public about the use of CNG
technologies and support the
government’s initiatives in
promoting this industry for a
better Pakistan.
