New Identity for European Association

The European Association for Natural Gas Vehicles has undergone a name change following the acceptance at today’s annual general meeting of a recommendation by the Association’s Board and Marketing and Communications committee. The association will simplify its name, adopting its former acronym ‘ENGVA’ as the official name of the body, along with the addition of a tagline, for sustainable mobility.

The move follows several months of research and consideration by the organization and was accepted by an overwhelming majority of votes at the AGM. The sustainable mobility tagline was accepted by members has being in keeping with the organization's objectives as well as reflecting the growing influence of bio methane for transport in the region. ENGVA will also develop and adopt a new logo as part of their rebranding process.
